During the turbulent years of the civil war, the country was threatened with extinction. A person was needed to prevent this society from extremism and violent thoughts and actions. In this field full of contradictions, the only brave man, the founder of the national peace and unity, the leader of the nation, Emomali Rahmon, stood out.
The effective and multifaceted activity of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan as the Head of State, which coincides with the most difficult and sensitive stage in the history of Tajiks, the construction and strengthening of the pillars of the independent state and the strengthening of peace and stability, as a story of masculinity and courage, innovation in the pages of the history of a cultured and ancient nation with the gold letters engraved forever.
June 27, 1997 – after 8 rounds of negotiations (1994-1997) between the Government of the Republic and the opposition side, in Moscow, by the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, and the head of the Tajik opposition union, Said Abdulloi Nuri, “The General Agreement on the Establishment of Peace and Consensus national in Tajikistan” was signed.
During the civil war in the Republic of Tajikistan (May 5, 1992 – June 27, 1997), more than 100,000 people died, and approximately 1 million refugees and forced migrants suffered material damage.
The signing of the “General Agreement on the establishment of peace and national harmony in Tajikistan” saved the country from the threat of destruction and the people from disintegration.
Taking into account the stated facts, it should be emphasized that the leader of the nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, as an outstanding figure of the nation, who made a unique contribution to the establishment of the system of governance of independent Tajikistan, the restoration of the constitutional structure, the achievement of national peace and unity, according to the Constitution of the Republic of Tajikistan in 1994, on the basis of a popular vote, he was elected the President of the Republic of Tajikistan.
Indeed, the founder of national peace and unity, the leader of the nation, the hero of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon fulfilled his historical mission to the motherland, nation and history. Today, we can proudly say that Tajikistan was established as a single independent state under the leadership of the leader of the nation. No one and no political force, including conflict groups that constantly ignore the achievements of Tajikistan, have the right to deny the existence of Tajikistan and the unity of Tajikistan. Because we will not allow it!
